Skip the Stuff is a national campaign to pass legislation to make take-out accessories optional. The Covid-19 pandemic led to a rise in single-use plastics consumption that eventually pollute our oceans. The initiative launched in February 2021 with the toolkit I produced. This equipped partnering organizations to engage their local legislators and communities. Within three months, Los Angeles County became the first assembly to pass the Skip the Stuff motion.
